It was warmer this week until Friday.
I still managed to ride in the morning on Friday. I like getting it done early.
Saturday was cold! I didn’t go out until the afternoon and that was to meet my friends at Bubba’s 33. It was very cold ride.
Sunday morning was even colder but it warmed up nicely.
It was nice to get over 100 miles for the week.

It was warmer through Wednesday so I rode before work.
It got very cold Thursday morning and I rode after lunch on Thursday and Friday. I am very appreciative that I can easily adjust my schedule.
With the cool mornings, there is no rush to get my riding done before lunch.
I did errands on Saturday on Sunday.

On Friday, I rode to the eye doctor for my first injection.

The cold weather was back. I didn’t feel up to braving the cold so I started work early and took a longer lunch break. I just did the large loop of 11 miles. It was so nice to ride in the sunlight without any errand attached to it.
Wednesday was warmer but I stuck with the schedule since this was a short week.
In years past, I would use the extra long weekend to ride as much as I could. In 2020, I did four days of 35 miles each. I felt fine at the time but broke out with a cold sore, either from too much sun or stress on my body. I don’t have anything to prove so I ride more for enjoyment rather than accomplishment.
On Thanksgiving day, I rode up to Starbucks for pumpkin loaf. This was as close as I got to pumpkin pie.
I did errands on Friday before the rain started. Errands on Saturday after it finally warmed up.
On Sunday, I did more errands to Sprouts & Home Depot.
This might be the lowest mileage week this year. It would have bothered me before but I am OK with it. Cycling is about please and transportation. It isn’t about the mileage. Though the mileage is something to be proud of.

The morning were a bit warmer until Friday.
I made my 5000 mile goal on Wednesday.
I didn’t ride Friday morning but started work early. I had to go into the office to exchange computers, then chiropractor and shopping before my eye doctor appointment. I barely had enough time to ride there.
On Saturday, I rode up to Starbucks for a non-official Coffeeneuring and Sunday I rode to the hardware store for a water can.

The mornings are starting to be a little cooler.
On Wednesday, I passed 5000 miles for the year.
On Friday, I rode to the eye doctor. It was windy and almost chilly.
On Saturday, I rode to Target for groceries. It was chilly in the morning. In the afternoon, I did my finally coffeeneuring ride for 2024. I also stopped at Home Depot for some fertilizer and a snake plant.
I did a large loop ride on Sunday.
