Because our summers are dang hot, Floridians tend to stay indoors. Or they only venture outside to go swimming. The nature parks don't see much action except from the ginormous mosquitos.

But now that the temperatures are cooling down. people are out and about. We can now enjoy nature without being its food source. This was our first visit to Hillsborough River State Park. It won't be our last.
