You might make the argument that this is just a door handle and pretty simple at that. Indeed, it is. There isn't any extra design and it certainly fits form follows function. But that's just it. The little swoop at the end meant to keep fingers or hand from slipping off the edge are just enough flair. A thousands diamonds are spectactular but my eye will always be drawn to simple and elegant designs.
